As one of the property industry’s most respected publications, The Negotiator hosts what are widely regarded as the UK’s leading estate agency awards. Competition was fiercer than ever this year, with a record number of submissions and a particularly strong field in the Scotland category, where both sales and lettings agencies vied for top honours.
We are extremely proud to have been recognised as the top sales agency in Scotland, earning Silver, with Gold awarded to SouthSide Property Management, an Edinburgh lettings agency we greatly admire and regularly collaborate with to support clients.
A Rigorous and Respected Judging Process
One of the standout aspects of the Negotiator Awards is their commitment to fairness and transparency. The awards are free to enter and require agencies to undergo a comprehensive judging process, benchmarking experience, service, innovation and results against peers across the UK.
This year’s panel featured 30 independent industry experts, ensuring each entry was assessed with the highest level of scrutiny and impartiality.
At a time when the property sector is under national review amid ongoing UK Government consultations on future regulation, we are exceptionally proud that our Solicitor Estate Agent model has been recognised as one of the most effective, trusted and professional ways to sell homes.
A Night to Celebrate Excellence
The awards ceremony took place in the iconic Great Room at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, a venue famed for hosting the BAFTAs. The evening delivered all the glamour and excitement expected of such an event, with comedian Marcus Brigstocke guiding the proceedings and an impressive Elton John tribute act kicking off the night with a brilliant live set.
Ten members of the Neilsons team attended, and it was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate both our collective achievements and the ongoing innovation across our industry.
Earlier that day, our Senior Property Consultant Amy Howard attended The Negotiator Conference, gaining valuable insight into key topics shaping the future of UK property. Sessions explored the rising influence of AI, the evolving regulatory landscape, and featured a thought-provoking interview with Shadow Housing Minister James Cleverley.
